Saskatchewan Rugby's U-18 Women's Head Coach Kayla Mack is pleased to announce a roster of 13 players to represent their province at the upcoming University of Regina's Prairie Invitational Rugby 7's Tournament January 26th at the Moose Jaw Yara Center. 

Selected from a pool of 24 players identified earlier in the season the team is excited to get on the pitch against tough opposition at this university level tournament. The U-18 Saskatchewan 7's women are building toward the U-18 Canada West Competition in February in Edmonton as well as Tropical 7's in Florida this April. 

"Local tournaments like this are incredibly important for a building squad like ours," says Head Coach Kayla Mack. "Every chance we get to be on the field as a team is crucial. The weather and the size of our province create huge challenges for programs that run over the winter months and opportunities to get a team together and have quality competition is essential to growth and success. I am excited to see this group of athletes on the field working together this weekend." - said Coach Kayla Mack

The tournament runs January 26th from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. The U-18 Women play their first pool play game at 8:40 am and the second at 11:20 am. Following game times TBD.
