The Saskatchewan men’s U18 team walked away from the Tropical 7s tournament in Orlando with a bronze medal, while the women’s team finished 11th.
In men’s action, Saskatchewan went 4-0 in the round robin to finish first in their pool. Unfortunately, they lost both of their playoff games leaving them with a third-place finish. Meanwhile, the women finished the round robin fourth in their pool with a 1-3 record, but turned it around in the playoffs picking up back-to-back wins.
